Can you vote in this year’s primary?

Posted by: Kevin B. Gilnack, Campaign Manager

Your vote is your voice -- and the source of our collective power.

None of the great accomplishments you helped secure this year would have been possible if you weren't voters who paid attention and held your elected official accountable. And now it's time to build on that power.

Today is the deadline to register to vote in the Massachusetts Primary Elections, which will take place on Thursday, Sept. 6.

If you are 18 or older and have never registered before, have moved since the last time you voted, recently gained citizenship, or want to change parties, you must complete and mail in a voter registration form today.

Please take a moment right now to complete our easy online form, which you can fill out on your computer, print, and mail in today.

The Caring Force is a proud supporter of CareVote, an initiative to encourage human service and nonprofit supporters to get registered and get to the polls. Check out the message from CareVote below for even more details on voter registration.

Elections have consequences, and no matter who you vote for, it's critical that you have a voice in the process. There are more important fights to come, and we need to show our legislators that we go to the polls.

Make sure your voter registration is current today: www.thecaringforce.org/register

The Caring Force has already been out registering voters as part of our support for CareVote. Check out photos from our voter registration drive on our Facebook page -- and be sure to give us a Like!

This Friday, August 17, is the deadline to register to vote in the State Primary Election being held on Thursday, September 6.

This is a great opportunity to encourage your staff members to register to vote.

If they register on or before Friday, they will be eligible to vote both in the State Primary Election in September and the General Election in November. It is important to register if:

Please forward this message to your colleagues, family members and friends and encourage them to register to vote this week.

In both cases, please fill out the form online, print it and send it in. While you can fill out the forms online, you MUST mail them in -- the Commonwealth does not have online voter registration.
